Panasonic MobileSoftphone is a dedicated SIP-based softphone application designed for Panasonic PBX systems. It functions as a PBX extension, supporting fundamental voice and video call features.

Supported Panasonic PBX Models:

• KX-NSX1000/2000 (Version 3.0 or later)
• KX-NS300/500/700/1000 (Version 5.0 or later)
• KX-HTS32/824 (Version 1.9 or later)

Notes:

• Panasonic MobileSoftphone is a client application and not a standalone VoIP service.
• It is essential to use this application with the specified Panasonic PBX models listed above.
• Some mobile network operators may restrict VoIP usage on their networks. It is advisable to consult your operator before utilizing this application to avoid potential fees or limitations.
• Phone book and setting data from previous versions (V1/V2) will not automatically transfer to the new version (V3). Manual re-registration of settings and data may be necessary. Specific instructions are provided for V1 and V2 users regarding phonebook data.
• Ensure to uninstall older versions of the application (Mobile Softphone V1/V2) before using the new version (MobileSoftphone V3) to prevent any potential operational issues resulting from running both versions concurrently.

Important Notice:

The Panasonic KX-UCMA Mobile softphone includes call handling features intended to redirect emergency calls to the Native Cellular Phone Dialer. However, please note that this functionality relies on the mobile phone's operating system, which is beyond Panasonic's control.

Panasonic strongly advises using the Native Cellular Phone dialer for all emergency calls. To utilize this feature, specific PBX requirements must be met. It is recommended to reach out to your PBX installer to ensure compliance with these requirements.
